The Pagosa Earth Community came about as a result of a book study of WHEN CORPORATIONS RULE THE WORLD by Dr. David Korten. A participant at the study was Phyll Collier, a Pagosa resident and sister of Fran Korten, David Korten’s wife. Phyll was not in on the initial decision to study David’s book, but as soon as she heard it was happening, she has been on-board.
Fran has spoken three times at our Ruby Sission Library when she comes Pagosa to visit her sister. She will speak again on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 2PM.

This final link about David’s books sends you to Amazon. That is not my ideal because it is one of the giant corporations that is ruling the world, but Amazon does an excellent job of critiquing, ordering & quickly shipping books at a reasonable price. I have gone to local bookstores only to find that they go to Amazon.
